As a Senior Sales Manager, you will promote the unique meetings experience of the Walt Disney World Resort. Responsibilities include developing meeting opportunities through new business acquisition, sales calls, tradeshows, and other sales activities; developing targeted sales plans; designing and hosting site inspections and client entertainment; crafting creative meeting and event solutions; and representing the Disney brand in all client interactions. This role requires at least five years of experience in Resort/Group/Convention Hotel Sales, with at least three years at a Senior level. A 4:1 hybrid work schedule allows for effective collaboration. The position reports to the Sales Director - Resort Sales.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in Resort/Group Sales

  • Proficiency in digital selling & social media

  • Multi-Hotel or Cluster Sales experience
  • Orlando market experience

You will report to the Sales Director - Resort Sales.

This is a Full-Time position.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop meeting opportunities through new business acquisition, sales calls, tradeshows, and other sales activities

  • Develop targeted sales plans against assigned markets

  • Design and host site inspections and client entertainment opportunities

  • Craft creative meeting and event solutions representative of the Disney brand

  • Represent the Disney brand in all client interactions

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least five years of experience in Resort/Group/Convention Hotel Sales, National Sales, Global Sales, or Catering Sales, with at least three years at a Senior level

  • Hospitality experience in a group/convention sales environment within the past two years

  • Experience in sophisticated and complex groups

  • Demonstrated client management and knowledge of market conditions and buyers in national and competitive marketplaces

  • Proficiency with Digital selling, virtual site visits, and Social Media technology in a sales environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-Hotel or Cluster Sales

  • Destination Management Organizations & Hotel Experience combined is a plus

  • Experience in the Orlando market

  • Luxury brand experience

  • Industry accreditation (CMP, CASE, CHSE)

  • Participation in a local/regional/national hospitality industry organization

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
