Job Summary:

About the Role & Team:

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be promoting the unique meetings experience of the Walt Disney World Resort, by advancing our award-winning accommodations, outstanding entertainment, world class meeting and event venues, and more. We offer incomparable experiences for conventions, meetings, and events of all sizes. Our unparalleled products and services deliver Disney's legendary dedication to creativity. You will have a direct impact on this meaningful business in a welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment. The 4:1 hybrid schedule allows for high value communication between multiple cross-functional partners. Come join this outstanding team!

You will report to the Sales Director - Resort Sales.

This is a Full-Time position.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop meeting opportunities through new business acquisition, sales calls, tradeshows, and other sales activities

  • Develop targeted sales plans against assigned markets

  • Design and host site inspections and client entertainment opportunities

  • Craft creative meeting and event solutions representative of the Disney brand

  • Represent the Disney brand in all client interactions

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least five years of experience in Resort/Group/Convention Hotel Sales, National Sales, Global Sales, or Catering Sales, with at least three years at a Senior level

  • Hospitality experience in a group/convention sales environment within the past two years

  • Experience in sophisticated and complex groups

  • Demonstrated client management and knowledge of market conditions and buyers in national and competitive marketplaces

  • Proficiency with Digital selling, virtual site visits, and Social Media technology in a sales environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-Hotel or Cluster Sales

  • Destination Management Organizations & Hotel Experience combined is a plus

  • Experience in the Orlando market

  • Luxury brand experience

  • Industry accreditation (CMP, CASE, CHSE)

  • Participation in a local/regional/national hospitality industry organization

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
