The Senior Analyst, Strategic Management, is a critical role within the Shared Service Center (SSC), supporting the Strategy & Transformation Senior Manager in driving the center’s long-term strategic vision. This role will focus on strategic planning, prioritizing and managing a diverse portfolio of transformation projects, and ensuring alignment with the SSC’s financial, operational, and transformation goals.
This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and project management skills. The Senior Analyst will collaborate extensively across functions—Service Management, Operations, Finance, IT, and HR—to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives and drive measurable impact. In addition to managing the long-term strategic roadmap, the role involves frequent engagement with senior leadership through executive-level presentations and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Partner with the Strategy & Transformation Senior Manager to co-develop and execute long-term strategic plans that align with the SSC’s overall objectives.
Monitor and track key strategic objectives, ensuring daily operations and short-term goals are aligned with the SSC’s long-term strategy.
Analyze internal and external data to identify strategic opportunities and challenges, offering actionable insights to guide leadership decision-making.
Project Management & Transformation:
Lead and prioritize multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and timely execution across diverse projects.
Develop and manage comprehensive project roadmaps, including timelines and milestones, for high-impact SSC transformation initiatives, with a focus on process optimization and technology integration.
Continuously track project progress, ensuring projects are aligned with return on investment (ROI) targets and deliver the desired business outcomes.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Serve as a key point of contact for coordination across Service Management, Operations, Transformation, Finance, IT, and HR teams, ensuring alignment of strategic priorities and project goals.
Facilitate cross-functional communication to promote collaboration, streamline workflows, and drive project success across departments.
Ensure smooth integration and execution of strategic initiatives by fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders throughout the SSC.
Financial & Business Acumen:
Conduct financial modeling and performance analysis to assess the financial impact of key strategic initiatives and projects.
Develop robust business cases for new transformation projects, ensuring they are financially sound, provide clear ROI, and are aligned with SSC and company-wide goals.
Support the creation of performance metrics to assess SSC performance, track financial outcomes, and ensure continuous alignment with strategic objectives.
Executive Communication & Presentation:
Prepare high-quality, data-driven presentations, reports, and executive dashboards for senior leadership, including the SSC Americas Director and other senior executives.
Present complex strategic recommendations in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to inform key decision-making processes at the highest levels.
Proactively communicate progress on key initiatives and provide insights that drive strategic conversations and outcomes.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience with financial modeling and valuation (preferred).
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma (a plus).
Previous Work Experience and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in strategic management, consulting, or project management roles, ideally within shared services, operations, or transformation environments.
Strategic Thinking & Analytical Abilities: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify strategic opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations that support long-term goals.
Business Acumen & Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of business drivers, financial analysis, and ROI calculations to ensure initiatives align with overall organizational goals and deliver value.
Project Management Excellence: Proven track record in leading and managing multiple projects with competing priorities, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes and adherence to quality standards.
Collaboration & Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships across departments and present ideas to diverse stakeholders.
Proactive Problem-solving: High-energy, self-driven individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering results.
Executive Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver compelling, high-impact presentations to senior leadership, distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, MS Project).
High-Level of Discretion: Demonstrated ability to manage and safeguard confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
