Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher from Limassol, Cyprus. The company focuses on the 4X strategy genre with an ambitious goal to grow its hit game Total Battle to become the No.1 strategy game in the world. We are looking for a sourcing guru with detective skills who loves numbers and creativity and feels that sourcing is their vocation, to join our energetic Recruiting team at Scorewarrior!

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Experience in a similar position from 2 years in gamedev / it companies
  • Successful experience in searching candidates and their contacts on specialized resources: Linkedin / Dribble / Behance / Artstation / GitHub / Stackoverflow / FB / Habr / other professional sources and social networks
  • Experience of using Google extensions for the search
  • Knowledge and experience of using X-ray and Boolean search
  • Understanding the Gamedev market and experience in art positions will be a big plus
  • Ability to work effectively with a large amount of information in a limited time frame
  • Result orientation, proactivity, flexibility and the ability to adapt to changes
  • Experience working in an international company is a plus.

Job requirements

Tasks to be solved:

  • Work on search strategy on open vacancies in the company in collaboration with recruiters to understand staffing needs and improve the sourcing strategy
  • Search for candidates’ profiles/resumes/portfolios according to the certain requirements using multiple tools and techniques for a variety of game development roles
  • Regular sourcing for a new search and publishing resources and analysis of the effectiveness of the sources
  • Carrying out the initial selection and evaluation of resumes /portfolios to deliver a diverse and qualified talent pipeline
  • Building and cultivating long-term relationships with prospective candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management and sourcing campaigns
  • Maintaining a database of candidates, update of the information
  • Market analysis and analytics of recruiting metrics
  • Regular analysis of donor companies and search for candidates from them
  • Scheduling of interviews with candidates
  • Posting vacancies

About The Company

Our company was founded in 2015 in Cyprus with the initial goal of publishing and operating third-party games.


In 2016 we decided that we wanted to work with our own games instead of ready-made products. We were excited by the idea of being a full-cycle game development studio: to launch a game, gain initial traction, and then scale up the game globally and become a leader in the genre.


2017 saw the arrival of our first game, Total Battle. We discovered the game in its very early stages, and we believed in its great potential, so we made it our goal to focus on this single title and become the leader in the 4X strategy genre.


In 2021, we began to transform the company into a full-cycle game development studio, adding game developers, designers, and artists to our already existing publishing team, which consisted of our finance, legal, marketing, community, and support staff. We finished this process in 2022, and we now operate from our two offices in Limassol.
