Job Description

Tekion is seeking a Training Specialist I (CRM), internally titled Services Enablement Learning Analyst I, to join the Service Enablement Learning Team. The role involves facilitating engaging training experiences for employees, working with L&D professionals, utilizing instructional design tools, and contributing to content improvement. Key responsibilities include delivering training sessions (in-person and virtual), providing learner support, assisting with content development using tools like PowerPoint and Storyline, and collaborating with team members. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 year of experience in training or facilitation, a Bachelor's degree, and preferred experience in the automotive industry and with CRM systems. Strong communication, presentation, and basic technical skills are essential for this role.

*** Experience in Automotive CRM highly preferred. Hands-on experience with at least one US retail automotive CRM system (e.g., DealerSocket, VinSolutions, Reynolds, CDK). Ability to explain lead lifecycle management from initial inquiry through delivery, including lead distribution, follow-up processes, and conversion tracking. Understanding of how CRM workflows adapt to varying dealership processes and sales methodologies.

Job Description

As a Services Enablement Learning Analyst I, you will assist all Tekionites as part of the Service Enablement Learning Team. You are responsible for facilitating engaging and compelling training experiences for employees. They will work under the guidance of experienced Learning and Development (L&D) professionals to deliver pre-designed training programs, utilize instructional design tools, and contribute to the continuous improvement of learning materials. In this role, you will help move the Tekion team forward through an iterative process that incorporates feedback from across the company. The Services Enablement Learning team's core values are curiosity, collaboration, communication, and accountability. We strive to have fun while supporting the various Tekion teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitation:
    • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, using established curriculum and materials.
    • Facilitate pre-defined discussions and activities to enhance learner understanding and retention.
    • Utilize remote presentation platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom) to deliver virtual training sessions effectively.
  • Learner Support:
    • Provide constructive feedback to learners on their performance during and after training sessions.
    • Administer assessments and situational exercises (role-plays) to evaluate learner knowledge and skills.
    • Update assessment questions as needed, following established approval processes.
  • Content Development & Maintenance:
    • Learn and utilize instructional design tools (PowerPoint, Storyline) to create and modify training materials under supervision.
    • Collaborate with Training Managers and Leads to review and refine learning content.
    • Utilize project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) to track assigned tasks and project progress.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Seek feedback from colleagues and learners to enhance personal performance and training effectiveness.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and instructional approaches.
    • Evaluate and identify potential improvements to existing training content and delivery methods.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Maintain open and consistent communication with project leads and managers, providing regular updates on task status and any challenges encountered.
    • Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing knowledge and providing support as needed.
    • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions, contributing ideas and insights.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Develop a basic understanding of the company's products and the automotive industry.
    • Apply industry and company knowledge to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of training delivery.
    • Develop a working knowledge of adult learning concepts and processes to inform instructional practices.

Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience in training, facilitation, or an instructional role. Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Certifications in learning and development, such as Certified Learning and Performance Professional (CLPP) or Association for Talent Development (ATD) certifications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, both in-person and virtually.
  • Basic proficiency in instructional design tools (PowerPoint, Storyline) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications and technologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. Base Salary Range

$59,625 - $99,500 USD
