Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the finance team, focusing on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for the Operations organization. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The analyst will partner with Operations leaders to align financial strategies with business goals and foster cross-functional collaboration. They will develop and maintain financial models, provide insightful analysis and recommendations, oversee financial reporting, support business initiatives, and drive process improvements. The role requires a strong understanding of GAAP and excellent communication skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Finance.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. Play a pivotal role in the financial planning and analysis(FP&A) function for the Operations organization within Marvell. Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Partner with Operations leaders to align financial strategies with business goals and drive cross-functional collaboration.

  • Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Partner with Operations leaders to align financial strategies with business goals and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to drive business performance.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and optimize financial performance.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Finance.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including active working knowledge of data sorting, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other data mining experience utilizing advanced Excel functionality.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills; proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

89,980 - 134,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
