Are you the go-to person when tech hits a snag? Do you love solving puzzles in creative workflows and making tools that make people’s lives easier? If you're fluent in Unreal and Maya, and thrive where artistry meets technical precision – you might be exactly who we’re looking for!
About the Role
At DIGIC Pictures, the Cinematic TD is a key player in making our stunning cinematics not just beautiful, but functional and optimized. You’ll be right in the middle of production – collaborating with artists, animators, and developers – making sure everything runs smoothly from previs to final render. Your work ensures that sequences are technically solid, assets are flowing correctly, and everything from mocap to FX behaves as it should, whether we’re rendering in real-time or pre-rendered workflows.
If you’ve ever debugged an asset, built a sequence, optimized a lighting setup, and still had time to help someone troubleshoot their crash at 5 PM – you’re probably already doing half this job.

• Assemble and maintain UE sequencer and Maya animation scenes based on storymatic or briefs
• Import, update, and manage mocap, performance capture, animation, FX, and lighting data
• Troubleshoot technical issues across the cinematic pipeline
• Ensure all scene and asset data meets project-specific and hardware performance specs
• Support cinematic artists through previz, animatic, lighting, and FX phases
• Collaborate with developers to create and test custom UE tools and workflows
• Optimize lighting and render settings for real-time performance and MRQ quality
• Keep the whole technical side of a cinematic pipeline on track from beginning to end

• You’re not afraid to dig into asset errors or memory/performance bottlenecks
