Job Description :

As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the vision for designing impactful interfaces and shaping the overall user experience across multiple projects. You will play a crucial role in driving user strategy, crafting comprehensive wireframes, and overseeing the final graphic production, ensuring that each solution aligns with both user needs and business goals.

In this leadership position, you will mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, while taking ownership of complex design challenges and high-stakes projects. You will be responsible for balancing client expectations with user-centric design, advocating for innovative solutions that deliver exceptional experiences.

As a Senior UX Designer, your success will be measured by the impact of your design solutions on user satisfaction, client happiness, and project profitability. You will be expected to bring a high level of creativity, strategic thinking, and design excellence, contributing to the overall success of the agency and enhancing the user experience across all touchpoints.

You are part of the Experience Design (XD) team, and your role is inherently collaborative, positioned between strategic aspects (such as UX Strategy, Service Design, and Content Design) and technical implementation (including Front-End, Back-End, and SEO). The Senior UX Designer plays a key role in communicating and working with all stakeholders

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Guarantee the quality and consistency of your UX solutions. 

  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design obstacles. 

  • Apply design laws and patterns and industry best practices to create cohesive interface designs. 

  • Collaborate and coordinate with technical and management teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, look and feel. 

  • Conduct and participate in user research activities and usability testing to gain insights into flow and validate design decisions. 

  • Define or collaborate on design briefs, benchmark analysis, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing reporting. 

  • Transform design research findings and recommendations into design solutions, and create user flows and experiences that simplify and facilitate the definition of complex content and actions in usable interfaces. 

  • Provide project estimates and validate estimates from more junior members. 

  • Master all F6 rules and general tools (Teams, Skills, and Forecast). 

  • Articulate and align with the Lead Designer and/or Head of XD on all projects and solutions developed.  

  • Keep your design team updated on the work to ensure consistency across products.  

  • Be open to accepting and discussing ideas with other designers and positively challenge clients’ feedback. 

Complementary Tasks: 

  • Present design concepts and strategies to senior leadership, stakeholders, and clients when requested. 

  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to junior designers. 

  • Assist the UX Strategists with Personas, Journey Maps, Pain Points, and Opportunities. 

  • Plan your UX project needs on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis (together with the Lead Designer). 

  • Articulate your design process, approach, and impact in verbal and visual presentation. 

  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and innovation within the organization. 

  • Be responsible for bringing issues concerning the UX/UI team and projects to weekly meetings. 

  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and methodologies, and contribute innovative ideas to the team and products. 
     

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

  • YOE: 6+ years of experience creating user-friendly interfaces. 

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, best practices, and techniques. 

  • Master in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other industry-leading tools. 

  • Knowledge of the principles of the Design System and the modular process. 

  • Capable of AI Prompt Engineering to streamline the design process. 

  • Excellent portfolio of products, services or digital experiences in web/mobile environments. 

  • Excellent sensitivity to user-system interaction. 

  • Ability to think of the experience as part of an integrated system and not limited to digital touchpoints. 

  • Desire to learn and ability to listen. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

  • Supervision and delegation. 

  • Ability to excel in high-stakes and tight deadline projects. 

  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. 

  • Love what you do and have the ability to inspire others to do the same. 

  • Background mindset is to simplify, with quality. 

Extra Skills: 

  • Ability to think of interactive elements, micro-interactions, and animations, contributing to a seamless user experience. 

  • Material Design, iOS and Android design concepts and guidelines.
