Responsibilities include identifying strategic opportunities, translating them into product requirements, and prioritizing them for the product roadmap. Additionally, they establish an analytics strategy to leverage data for performance monitoring, research, and product improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key for client partnerships, managing the product roadmap, product lifecycle, and ensuring quality and timely delivery. The role also involves providing leadership and mentorship to product and data science professionals.
Must have:

Position Summary

The VP of Product and Analytics leads the product strategy, roadmap, and analytics initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making and driving product success across the entire lifecycle, from conception to launch and beyond.This role sets and implements the product vision and strategy in collaboration with the executive team and overall company objectives. They position Lirio as the AI Behavior Change leader in the healthcare space by shaping and sharing Lirio’s story with prospects, clients and partnersThey seek out and discover strategic opportunities, translate those opportunities into product requirements and prioritize those requirements as input to the Lirio product roadmap. This role sets and implements an analytics strategy to shape how data is leveraged within Lirio to monitor performance, inform research, and improve the productThey collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable client partnerships, manage the product roadmap, orchestrate the product life cycle, and ensure product quality and delivery within deadlines.  They provide leadership and mentorship for product and data science professionals and assure competency and accountability within that team. 

This role will be remote within the US with the opportunity to be hybrid if located in Tennessee. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, and must reside full time in the US.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Product/Analytics Organization Leadership 

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, data scientists/analysts, and design professionals.  
  • Monitor the work assignments and progress of the team and ensure accountability across both roles and tasks. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.  
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development 
     

Product Strategy 

  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives and market needs.  
  • Support business development, client success, and strategic partnerships by representing the Lirio product in the market (conferences, sales discussions, client meetings, etc) to identify customer problems and Lirio solutions. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.  
  • Prioritize product initiatives and allocate resources effectively.  
  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to all stakeholders 
     

Product Management 

  • Collaborates with executives, squad leaders, and members of the Lirio Factory to determine technical design, align resources, prioritize product roadmap, and deliver product features. 
  • Collaborate with Lirio leadership, factory and scientific teams to ensure successful product development and launch.  
  • Define product requirements and specifications.  
  • Scope projects/initiatives and coordinate work across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of product features. 
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks.  

Analytics Strategy 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy to measure product performance and user behavior.  
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product success.  
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.  
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with other departments, including the technology team, growth, behavioral science, and AI, to ensure product success.  
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.  
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.  

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience working in a product management role in health technology. 
  • 5+ years experience working an a technical analysis or data science role. 
  • Technical degree strongly preferred. 
  • Track record of commercially successful product launches, preferably in an enterprise software product management role. 
  • Experience translating customer needs into product features and user interface designs. 
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to take complex ideas and communicate them effectively internally and externally. 
  • Experience presenting to large audiences (20+ individuals to include customers and senior level executives). 
  • Demonstratable commercial acumen and ability to manage customer expectations. 
  • Technology curious and can keep up in reasonably technical conversations. 
  • Experience coordinating complex development efforts within an agile development process. 
  • Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value. 
  • Ability to drive the product strategy through strong collaboration and to influence others across the organization.  
  • Previous startup experience, preferably in a rapid, high growth environment 
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
