Job Description

This role is an Account Manager focused on large customer sales within the Entertainment and Education sectors. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, leveraging Google's product offerings to drive client growth, acting as a consultant to solve business challenges, and collaborating with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills along with experience in digital marketing, media planning, and client servicing. This position requires a deep understanding of the Entertainment and Education industry's dynamics and a commitment to client success. The role involves close collaboration with clients to design effective advertising campaigns across various Google platforms, maximizing their reach and impact. Success in this role contributes directly to the growth of both the client's business and Google's.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in digital marketing or advertising
  • Client relationship building
  • Media planning & negotiation
  • Digital marketing strategy expertise
Good to have:
  • Experience in sales or marketing
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing
  • Understanding of industry issues and growth roadmap

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a digital marketing role or a similar role within the advertising industry or client side.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in media planning, negotiation, and measurement.
  • Experience in client relationship building, client servicing, and solution-based promoting.
  • Experience in sales or marketing.
  • Knowledge of traditional as well as contemporary/online marketing tactics and strategy.
  • Understanding of the industry's issues, a roadmap for its growth, and a commitment to advance client’s business.

As an Account Manager, you will play the role of a consultant providing solutions to improve the business of your assigned clients or to solve their business challenges. You will make recommendations to the clients on how they can develop their business by making better use of digital, especially in marketing, thereby becoming a trusted partner and contributing to the client's success. Client's success will ultimately lead to business for the team and Google. You will learn Google's products fully and in a timely manner, and understand digital marketing to utilize it in the business activity.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions.
  • Work closely with internal and external product specialists.
  • Leverage all available resources including optimization, marketing, and technical support.
  • Build effective relationships with customers and educate them on new product features.
  • Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
