Job Description

As an Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (GCS), you'll consult with various advertising companies, identifying optimal advertising solutions using Google's products. You'll build relationships, conduct consultations, and deliver compelling pitches to help clients maximize their Google Ads ROI. Responsibilities include owning a portfolio of small businesses, understanding their growth drivers, managing risks, and creating quarterly plans. You'll drive customer growth, delivering outstanding customer experiences and achieving their business and marketing objectives. Fluency in English and Norwegian is essential for supporting clients in the Norwegian market. The role requires strong communication, sales, and digital marketing skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and consistently exceed quotas.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent English and Norwegian
  • Google Ads & online advertising knowledge
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieve quarterly growth goals
Good to have:
  • Google Digital Workshop Certification
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience in the Norwegian market

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Norwegian fluently to support clients in the Norwegian market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Norway and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and business pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
