ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing Cloud Solutions: Create scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the deployment of AWS solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Monitoring and Management: Continuously monitor and manage AWS environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with organizational goals.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Optimization: Propose and implement strategies to optimize existing cloud solutions for cost, performance, and security.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures and processes.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure that cloud solutions comply with industry standards and best practices for security and data protection.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Develops and implements scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions. 
• Designs and executes plans for migrating legacy applications to the cloud. 
• Optimizes cloud deployments using AWS services like ECS, Copilot, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker. 
•  Implements hybrid cloud solutions across different cloud platforms if necessary

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Four-year college degree in computer science, engineering or related field plus a minimum of 12 years of related experience or advanced degree with 12+ years of related experience AWS Core Services: Proficiency in key AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Networking: Understanding of networking concepts and AWS networking services.
• Security: Familiarity with AWS security services and best practices for securing cloud environments.
• Data Storage: Knowledge of data storage options and database services on AWS.
• DevOps Tools: Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Migration: Skills in planning and executing cloud migration projects.
• Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cost Management: Ability to manage and optimize cloud costs using AWS cost management tools.
