Backend Engineer (Golang/PHP)

Job Description
Xsolla is looking for innovative, collaborative, and adaptable Backend Engineers to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and dynamic environment, driving best practices in software development. They should have strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and communication abilities, along with experience in software development and design across various technologies and frameworks. The role involves developing new functionality, creating new services, and offering ideas for product improvement. The engineer will be responsible for backend development, creating and maintaining services, and contributing to the team's development efforts.
Must have:
- Experience in PHP and/or Golang backend development
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Understanding of decomposition principles, OOP, and patterns
- Ability to write testable code, unit and functional tests
- Good command of SQL, database design, and OLTP/OLAP approaches
- Participate in team development

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new functionality and maintain it
- Create new services for new features
- Offer new ideas for improving the product
REQUIREMENTS
- Have experience in programming and industrial web application backend development in PHP and/or Golang
- Have a good understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Understand decomposition principles, OOP and patterns
- Can write testable code, unit and functional tests
- Have a good command of SQL, database design, OLTP/OLAP approaches
- Participate in team development
