Billing Coordinator

Job Description

• Track, maintain, and completes tasks within the Jirra ticketing system each month
• Assist with maintaining and keeping customer files up to date in Business Central
• Work with Accounts Receivable team to assist with billing questions
• Review of customer billing reports for potential errors
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

• Document and follow relevant internal controls over financial reporting.
• Directly assist subsidiaries and other departments to document and adhere to relevant internal controls over financial reporting for their respective functions.

• Associate Accounting degree preferred
• 2+ years accounting experience in the areas of customer billing and/or revenue  
• Detail oriented and highly organized 
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements 
• High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
• The ability to work interactively across functional groups
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is required

• When in the office, must be comfortable working in a cubicle with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods
• When working from home, must be available during normal business hours
• Repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, telephone
• Must maintain professional, courteous demeanor when working with internal or external customers
