Job Description

The Business Planning Intern will be instrumental in shaping the future of HOPE’s creative projects by developing strategic plans, collaborating with the creative team, and managing long-term initiatives. Key responsibilities include strategic mapping, project planning and management, team collaboration, long-term vision development, execution of initiatives, roadshow and presentation development, and the initial development of an animated feature film. The role offers real-world experience in business planning, project management, and strategic vision within a humanitarian organisation, contributing to projects in disaster relief and educational equality.

Job Details

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland (On-site). We offer flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose the days you'd prefer to be in the office.

Role Overview: 


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Planning Executive to join our team as an intern/volunteer. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of HOPE’s creative projects by developing strategic plans, collaborating with our creative team, and managing long-term initiatives. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience in business planning, project management, and strategic vision within a humanitarian organisation. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Mapping: Develop a comprehensive map of activities and initiatives at HOPE, focusing on our Hope 5D and Hope 3G projects. 
  • Project Planning & Management: Translate strategic plans into actionable projects, taking on a project management role to ensure their successful execution. 
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with animators, artists, illustrators, and other creative team members to align project plans with the overall creative vision. 
  • Long-Term Vision Development: Create and present vision boards for 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year plans to guide HOPE’s future growth and development. 
  • Execution of Initiatives: Ensure that all projects are executed with a high degree of precision and attention to detail. 
  • Roadshow & Presentation Development: Assist in the creation of app demonstrations, roadshows, TV shows, and tablet-based projects, contributing to a comprehensive project delivery plan. 
  • Initial Development of our Animated Feature Film
