Job Description

Boomi is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to lead a team of sales professionals in selling Boomi's integration and automation platform. The role involves managing sales execution, driving pipeline generation, and fostering a high-energy team culture. Responsibilities include directing sales efforts, providing team development and inspiration, understanding market dynamics and competitors, and ensuring a superior customer experience by delivering tailored technology solutions. The manager will collaborate with leadership and marketing to implement sales plans and campaigns, review sales results, and lead training sessions. This position primarily covers the Asia Region, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and India.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Strong track record in quota-driven sales
  • Proficient with CRM tools (SFDC preferably)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Good to have:
  • Experience leveraging channel partners
  • Understanding of MEDDPIC selling skills

As a Commercial Sales Manager at Boomi, you will manage a team of sales professionals responsible for selling Boomi products, solutions, and services. You will represent, communicate, and execute sales strategies and be responsible for creating a high-energy culture as you drive the team to generate new pipeline and position Boomi products and services.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct the efforts of sales makers in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group
  • This role primarily covers the Asia Region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and India.
     
  • Provide direction, development and inspiration to team members in the organization; Motivate and drive team members to exceed performance objectives
  • Understand the market in which Boomi operates, including our business, industry, and competitors, and use that knowledge to plan for the future
  • Drive a superior customer experience by delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs while removing barriers and driving strategic alignment in the group
  • Work with the Commercial leadership team and Marketing to implement and carry out a sales plans, campaigns, and strategy to generate net-new pipeline and revenue
  • Review sales/pipeline generation results, discuss sales strategies, and lead sales and product training sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of work and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively leveraging and working within a country specific channel partner ecosystem to broaden 
    reach and local customer engagement .
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Strong track record of sales experience in a quota-driven sales capacity, preferably in technology sales
  • Proficient with CRM tools – SFDC preferably
  • Understanding of MEDDPIC selling skills is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
