The Community Manager will be responsible for building, developing, and moderating the community around their upcoming game, The Hexadome: Aristeia Showdown. This role involves showcasing behind-the-scenes content and generating excitement for the game. Responsibilities include daily content creation and publication, community interaction and moderation, trend identification and content ideation, collaboration with the Brand Manager on audience analysis, coordination and hosting of game streams on Twitch, and being the face of the studio in promotional content videos.

Must have:

Blindspot Games is looking for a Community Manager to join its team. Reporting to our Brand Manager, you will be in charge of building, developing and moderating the community around our next game, The Hexadome: Aristeia Showdown.

Having chosen to adopt an open development approach, where we wish to be transparent about all stages of game development, the Community Manager will be in charge of showcasing the behind the scenes, while at the same time creating excitement around the game.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the team: plan, create and publish content daily on the different platforms
Interact with the community, answer questions, moderate content and encourage discussions around the game and the studio
Identify trends and search for ideas for innovative and promising content
Work closely with our Brand Manager on audience analysis and optimization of our communications
Coordinate and host streams of our game on Twitch
Be the face of our studio in our promotional content videos

The ideal person for this role should

Be completely fluent in both English and French, written and spoken. Being able to communicate with the community in English and French is essential for this role
Have excellent writing skills
Demonstrate creativity
Have excellent communication and interpersonnal skills
Have excellent knowledge of social networks and platforms (Steam, Discord, Reddit, Twitch, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook)
Have knowledge of video editing and image editing for social networks
Be comfortable in front of the camera
Possess knowledge of trends related to the gaming industry
Being passionate about video games is essential
