Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of a complex software product web part tailored for the switching power supply design. Oversee the implementation of frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Provide support for existing code base, including bug fixing, refactoring, and implementing unit tests to improve code quality and stability.
• Act as a primary point of contact for engineering team and collaborate closely with QA department to gather and refine requirements for program functionality. Effectively communicate technical solutions and project progress to stakeholders.
• Create a collaborative team environment by resolving conflicts, prioritizing tasks and facilitating the decision-making process. Work closely with team members to solve technical problems and find optimal solutions
• Perform thorough code reviews and evaluations for compliance with industry standards, code validity, structure and compatibility with various browsers and operating systems. Implement best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team guiding them to implement scalable and effective solutions. Maintain a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or relevant course
• 8 years of relevant work experience or 6 years of experience if with MS degree
• 5+ years of commercial web development experience
• Proficiency in Vue.js and PHP
• Solid knowledge of web technologies, protocols and general design principle
• Ability to quickly understand existing codebases and write clean, easily maintainable code
• SQL knowledge
• Experience with agile development methodology including Scrum
• Proficient in version control systems like Git
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to generate and express ideas effectively
• Knowledge of software security best practices and experience implementing secure coding practices
• Ability to effectively manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting
