Adyen is seeking a data-driven and proactive Digital Marketing Manager to join their Paris office. This role focuses on driving customer acquisition through targeted digital marketing campaigns across owned and paid channels. Responsibilities include planning, setting up, and optimizing campaigns, generating sales opportunities from digital channels, leveraging analytics tools, managing local media buying and agency relationships, localizing webpages, and managing campaign budgets. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B digital marketing, SEM, and other paid acquisition channels, with a proven ability to create, execute, and optimize campaigns for marketing ROI. They should possess a balance between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, be self-motivated, and interested in experimentation and A/B testing, including AI-driven approaches.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
  • B2B tech marketing experience
  • Strong SEM (SEO/SEA) background
  • Proficiency in paid acquisition channels (Social, Display)
  • Proven ability to create, execute, and optimize campaigns
  • Balance of strategic and hands-on skills
  • Self-starter, able to multitask
  • Interest in experimentation and A/B testing
  • High French and English language proficiency
Good to have:
  • Tool knowledge (Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, Looker)

Digital Marketing Manager

Adyen is looking for a data-driven, proactive and collaborative digital marketing manager. This role will work from our Paris office and report directly to the Team Lead France Revenue Marketing.

The digital marketing role is focused on driving impact for Adyen’s acquisition efforts of new customers through marketing. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, setting up and optimizing targeted digital marketing campaigns across owned and paid channels.

You are our ideal candidate if you are experienced with B2B digital marketing, a strong communicator and fluent in working with revenue-based goals. You have a hands-on mentality, with an ability to develop, implement, track and optimize new marketing initiatives. This is a matrixed role collaborating across the local and global marketing teams to optimize Adyen’s impact through digital channels.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the global acquisition team to plan, set-up and optimize digital marketing campaigns locally, including web, lifecycle, SEO/SEM, paid social and display advertising to drive full funnel impact. 
  • Work closely with the local commercial teams to generate sales accepted opportunities from digital channels,
  • Leverage analytic tools to determine effectiveness of campaigns and promotions across all digital channels. Optimize on a daily basis,
  • Handle local media buying through either direct deals and / or agencies,
  • Manage digital agency relationship including campaign briefing, day to day communication, media plans, campaign optimisation, budget allocation, evaluations,
  • Manage the localizations and optimizations of the local webpages. Manage landing page creation, web translations, and local SEO optimization, in collaboration with an external agency,
  • Manage campaign budgets, analyze past programs and report on performance KPIs,
  • Establish repeatable processes, templates and best practices for digital campaigns management and growth.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and customer acquisition. B2B tech experience is a plus.
  • Strong background in SEM (both SEO and SEA) and other paid acquisition channels (Social, Display).
  • A results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to strategically create, execute, and optimize successful campaigns for specific audiences, consistently improving marketing ROI.
  • Balance between strategic & hands-on: From developing a strategy to execution and optimization. 
  • A self-starting and self-motivated contributor with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • A keen interest in experimentation and A/B testing, with a drive to challenge traditional processes and introduce innovative approaches (including those based on AI, like Google Search AI or ChatGPT referencing) to bring fresh ideas to established channels.
  • High language proficiency in both French and English.
  • Tool knowledge (eg. Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, Looker) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally 20%+
