Job Description

The Field Service Technician (FST) will support the technical needs of Philips customers, providing maintenance and installation for HealthTech products and services. The role involves maximizing customer satisfaction by seeking opportunities to further support customers. The FST will be responsible for maintaining and operating imaging medical equipment, keeping records of client visits, maintaining client relationships by providing technical support and troubleshooting, and working independently. The job requires a focus on First Time Right approach and good record-keeping as per Philips procedures. Frequent travel may be required for this field-based role, working from Monday to Friday.
Must have:
  • Experience in medical equipment maintenance with imaging and nuclear medicine equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office software applications.
  • Intermediate English overall level.
  • Competent IT/Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service skills.

Field Service Technician - imaging medical devices - Guadalajara

The FST's goal is to support the technical needs of Philips customers, providing maintenance and installation to HealthTech products & services, maximizing customer satisfaction by seeking opportunities to support our customers further and deliver value. Work under pressure is a frequent aspect of the job as eventualities and hurries occur very often.

Your role:

  • Responsible for maintenance and operation of imaging medical equipment. Focus on First Time Right ensuring there is a clear action plan & preparation, with parts (if required), and diagnosis before the onsite visit.

  • Keep a record of every client visit according to Philips procedures. Visits, spare parts, equipment diagnostics, equipment history records, are necessary to maintain a good quality service.

  • Maintain a good relationship with clients providing technical support, troubleshooting & escalation support to Customers, communicates solutions or actions, take ownership, and act in accordance with our regulatory guidelines.

  • Largely works independently within the Philips Health tech products trained on.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired some previous experience in medical equipment maintenance, specifically with image and radiopharmaceutical (cyclotrone)/nuclear medicine equipments.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, electronic systems engineering, mechatronics, instrumentation and control engineering, biomedical or medical electronic.

  • You have experience with Microsoft Windows and Office Software applications as well as Intermediate English overall level.

  • Your skills include competent IT/Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service essential.

Your work schedule will be Mon - Fri from 8:30am to 5:30pm and you'll be mainly supporting Hospital San Javier. However, is essence this is a field role and frequent travelling might be needed.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position and you're expected to be based in or willing to rellocate to Guadalajara.
