HP PageWide Inkjet Sales Specialist

Description -

HP Industrial Print wouldn’t be an industry leader without its successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified HP PageWide Inkjet Sales Specialist to sell our products and services that further disrupt the traditional print-industry and help improve the lives of people around the world. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial printing market, sales process and excel at helping with generating leads, building relationships, design added value solutions and closing deals. We’re seeking a quick learner who has strong listening and negotiating skills as well as an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and participating in trade shows, the sales specialist must be both approachable and professional to help us extend our global reach and impact.

Objectives of this role

  • Represent the company effectively by developing comprehensive knowledge of its value proposition

  • Maximize sales performance through strong relationships with clients and awareness of their vision and needs

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales and activity quotas

  • Generate leads by committing to customer satisfaction, anticipate on areas for growth for the customer and building relationships

  • Adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field

  • Conduct incisive and insightful research of the market conditions in the assigned territory

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company and its products, research consumer needs, and identify how our solutions can address those needs

  • Work with account executives for ground-planning, initiate campaigns and planning on follow-up

  • Generate leads and grow existing relationships by tracking and discussing the state of the business on a repeat base

  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics tools to ensure standardized process throughout all stages of a sale

  • Conduct half-yearly-end close evaluation processes

Required skills and qualifications

  • Three or more years of sales experience within a similar industry

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Understanding and embedded consultative selling in sales strategy

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM platform

  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

  • Experience in closing enterprise-level deals

  • Strong ability to analyse business opportunities effectively

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • University or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota

Impact / scope

  • Works within an assigned territory with several account executives and a solution architect;

  • Works on smaller number of projects/accounts of greater strategic (long term) value to HP Industrial Print

  • Accounts may be international or global
