We are looking for an HR Partner who can build sustainable professional relationships and be a trusted local HR partner to our contractors and company managers.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the contractors' success by offering unwavering support throughout their journey, starting from the onboarding process and extending to their growth and career advancement. Collaborating closely with HR Partners, company managers, and contractors alike, you will drive organizational effectiveness, and talent management, and foster high levels of employee engagement.
Also, as an HR Partner, you will collaborate with local and international managers to enhance organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement on a global scale.
Responsibilities:
- Support the onboarding process to ensure smooth enrollment and integration of new hires, in cooperation with TMF (local HR and Payroll vendor)
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job descriptions, teleworking arrangements, and work regulations
- Work with line management on contractor performance, engagement, and retention
- Provide consultations to employees regarding career development and company policies, and conduct regular 1:1 meetings
- Collaborate with line management on onboarding, trial management, performance appraisals, retention management, rotations, and terminations
- Process employment records related to retention, promotion, performance management, and termination
- Work with HR analytics, including employee satisfaction surveys, to guide decision-making and improve HR practices
- Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws and regulations
- Prepare and maintain employment records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements
- Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to mitigate potential risks
- Manage payroll and benefits administration, including leave management and statutory compliance
- Develop, implement, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence
- Monitor and suggest improvements to HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with HR Marketing function by supporting local marketing activities and events
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant HR experience
- Upper-intermediate English
- Highly developed listening and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and negotiating abilities
- Results-driven and proactive mindset
- Ability to think critically and handle complex situations
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across various countries
