Milestone Systems is looking for a dynamic Key Account and A&E Manager to join our team. Benelux is an important territory in the EMEA region, and the Key Account and A&E Manager will have a key role in the further expansion of our territory.
Your main responsibility will be to deliver on business objectives in Benelux territory. In this role, you'll take charge of a portfolio of large end customer accounts and A&E consultants, leveraging your expertise to maintain relationships, identify opportunities, and drive business growth.
Your workplace is homebased, and our regional office is located in Breda. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager Benelux.
Your primary responsibilities are:
- To form close relationships with end users, consultants and specifiers in the IP Video Security Channel to promote the Milestone brands (XProtect, Arcules and BriefCam), and to increase sales and demand for Milestone security products
- To achieve set objectives relating to all relevant sales and product quantity mix. This will involve the strategic and active analysis of market opportunities, as well as the ability to influence decision makers and ensuring sales growth
- Strategic planning - Both short- and medium-term sales planning will be required on a regular basis following sales workshops and liaising with the team to share market information.
- Reporting and documentation in CRM management tools such as SalesForce
- Participating at events, seminars, and exhibitions
- Liaising with major key players in our verticals at senior level
- Product and market segmentation, positioning and targeting
- Focus on product/channel/customer margin
- End-customer and consultant consultations
- Vertical and end-customer audit analysis
- Achievement of our sales target
This is a regional role, therefore extensive travel across the whole Benelux territory is required. Sometimes travelling abroad to Milestone HQ in Denmark is required
What you bring:
- A proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment
- Extensive experience of CCTV and associated technologies, in particular presenting relevant solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers
- Must have a knowledge of the market, main channels and potential customers within the electronic security market
- Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology
- A desire to make a positive impact on the market and brand recognition
- Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with both internal company directors / colleagues, consultants and key end customers
- A team player – demonstrate success in team situations
- Project Management, Product Planning, and strong communication skills required with the ability to present at board level to Blue Chip companies, and to communicate on all levels in a clear and concise manner
- Previous experience working for a CCTV manufacturer would be beneficial, but not essential
- Business or Technical Degree Level Education would be advantageous
- Advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills to include Excel
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and good clear judgement
- Ability to demonstrate motivation to achieve targets
- Logical and well organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Displays a pro-active approach and is a ‘solution finder’
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Dutch, French and English Language are essential for our region
- Living and have permission to work in The Netherlands or Belgium
