Brakes Plus is seeking dynamic and driven professionals for their Manager in Training (MIT) program. This fast-track, hands-on program is designed to cultivate future leaders for the rapidly expanding company. The role involves immersing in a structured development program to gain skills in leading with confidence, upholding core values, and delivering an industry-leading customer experience. Responsibilities include customer engagement, fostering a motivated team environment, supervising technicians, managing inventory, ensuring store safety, and maintaining store appearance. The program prepares participants to become Store Managers, driving operational success and team performance.
Must have:
  • 2-4 years automotive service advising experience
  • 2 years automotive service management experience
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Develop professional relationships with customers and team members
  • Proven track record of exceeding business objectives
  • Ability to work efficiently individually and as part of a team

Brakes Plus, a leader in automotive care, is seeking dynamic and driven professionals with 2-4 years of automotive service advising experience and/or 2 years of automotive service management experience to join our Manager in Training (MIT) program. This fast-track, hands-on program is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders for our rapidly expanding company. Program Overview

As a Manager in Training, you’ll immerse yourself in a structured, hands-on development program, learning directly from seasoned professionals. This role is designed to prepare you for a future as a Brakes Plus Store Manager, equipping you with the tools to drive operational success and team performance.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding leadership and store management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

  • Requires 2-4 years of experience in automotive service advising and/or 2 years of experience in automotive service management

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a manner that ensures efficiency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Proven track record of exceeding business objectives

  • Manage parts inventory, oversee purchasing, and maintain stock levels to support seamless operations.

  • Ensure store safety, proper equipment maintenance, and compliance with company standards.

  • Maintain a clean, professional store appearance that reflects our brand.

  • Conduct thorough inspections and adhere to Brakes Plus’ operational standards and procedures.

  • Complete the comprehensive Manager in Training Guide to build leadership expertise.
