SOFTSWISS is seeking a Middle Systems Engineer to join their expanding team. The role involves collaborating with product teams, participating in project launches and feature releases, designing complex information systems, automating and maintaining infrastructure, and consulting with managers and clients. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining technical documentation. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovation in the iGaming industry through technological advancements.

Must Have:

3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer/SRE/DevOps
Proficient with Linux-based operating systems
Experience with configuration management systems
Development skills in Bash and Python
Experience with container application virtualization and orchestration
Good knowledge and experience in the CI/CD process
Experience with distributed systems
Experience in information system design
Experience with PostgreSQL
Intermediate or higher English and Russian

Key responsibilities:

Collaboration with product teams
Participate in the launch of new projects and new features
Participate in the design of complex information systems
Automate infrastructure components
Setup and maintain infrastructure
Consult managers and company clients
Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or SRE/DevOps
Proficient with Linux-based operating systems
Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Saltstack)
Development skills in Bash and Python
Experience with container application virtualization systems and orchestration systems for them (preferably with k8s)
Good knowledge and experience in the CI/CD process (Gitlab CI)
Experience with distributed systems
Experience in information system design
Experience with PostgreSQL
Intermediate or higher English and Russian (B1+)

Nice to have:

Experience with major cloud service providers
Experience with Go/Ruby language
Architectural ability to participate in designing complex, highly available, and geo-distributed systems, and the readiness to argue decisions
