Job Description

The New Business Account Strategist will manage a new customer portfolio for six months, ensuring long-term success with their digital advertising journey. This role requires fluency in Indonesian and English, delivering against assigned customer goals and providing an outstanding onboarding experience. Collaboration with Sales, Product, and Program teams is crucial for seamless customer handovers. Responsibilities include implementing creative relationship improvements, tailoring performance-enhancing suggestions, promoting Google products, and proactive communication with customers. Strategic advice is key to maximizing customer return on investment, requiring a consultative approach. The ideal candidate possesses at least 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, business development, online media, or marketing, with strong communication and analytical skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in Indonesian and English
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Consultative sales & client relationship skills
  • Manage new customer portfolios
  • Deliver outstanding onboarding experiences
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in a matrixed organization
  • TV/media industry experience
  • Digital marketing campaign management experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to speak and write in Indonesian and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 2 years of experience in the TV or media industry.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Ability to reach out to customers, or cold calling, and enjoy helping customers to add value to their business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up for long-term success with their digital advertising journey.
  • Deliver against assigned customer goals while prioritizing, and deliver an outstanding onboarding experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Program teams to deliver seamless customer handovers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Communicate proactively with customers via phone, chat, and email. Provide strategic advice to help customers get the best return on their investment by working with them in a consultative role.
