About The Role

The Onboarding Senior Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the merchant onboarding process, ensuring that new merchants are seamlessly integrated into the company’s systems while complying with all KYC/KYB regulations. This role involves supervising a team of onboarding & activation agents, managing the execution of onboarding activities, and ensuring that all merchant profiles are verified in line with regulatory standards. The Onboarding Senior Specialist works closely with the Onboarding Lead and Compliance teams to align onboarding practices with business goals and compliance requirements.

What You Will Do

    • Oversee the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
    • Coordinate with internal teams to gather and verify required information and documentation
    • Ensure KYC/KYB compliance is integrated into the onboarding workflow
    • Supervise and develop a team of onboarding & activation agents
    • Identify and implement improvements in onboarding and KYC/KYB processes
    • Enhance the merchant onboarding experience by addressing issues and gathering feedback
    • Ensure compliance with AML, CTF, and other relevant regulations
    • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on onboarding and KYC/KYB operations.

What You Will Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in onboarding, KYC/KYB, or compliance roles, with some Senior Specialist or team lead experience preferred
    • Strong understanding of KYC/KYB regulations, AML laws, and merchant onboarding best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in onboarding and KYC/KYB software and tools, particularly Salesforce
