Description
Everi is seeking an experienced Paralegal – Litigation and Corporate III to join our Legal team. This role is pivotal in supporting litigation and corporate legal functions, managing international legal matters, and providing crucial support to both internal stakeholders and external counsel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal document management, litigation support, international corporate governance, and contract administration.
What Will You Be Doing?
Litigation Support
- Manage and process claims and litigation files, including opening, reviewing, and closing files.
- Support Corporate Counsel and/or Deputy General Counsel in all phases of litigation, including calendaring, scheduling meetings, depositions, and witness preparation.
- Handle document production in response to discovery requests.
- Receive and manage subpoenas, coordinating timely responses with in-house counsel.
- Accept service of process on behalf of the Company.
International Corporate Governance
- Manage corporate matters for foreign subsidiaries, working with international counsel and intermediary agents.
- Maintain accurate records and filings for foreign subsidiaries.
- Coordinate updates for Directors and Officers across jurisdictions.
- Handle Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and resolve international compliance issues.
Contract Administration
- Administer contracts executed by Everi and its subsidiaries.
- Draft and review non-standard clauses and modifications; escalate as necessary.
- Maintain and update certain corporate policies and procedures as directed.
Research & Documentation
- Perform legal and administrative research as requested.
- Support Treasury operations including vendor coordination, invoice handling, and banking documentation for international jurisdictions.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or Paralegal Certification.
- 5–8 years’ experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, ideally in gaming, compliance, fintech, or corporate law.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of corporate and international legal principles.
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and drafting legal documents and contracts.
- Skilled in legal research and analysis of financial data and reports.
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Concur, SharePoint, PACER, Ardent Sky, and contract management platforms.
- Comfortable working with databases and generating analytical reports.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new legal technology platforms.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - $100,000 annually.
