The Performance Sales Specialist (Fixed-Term-Contract) in Bucharest, Romania, partners with internal and external stakeholders to define account-level performance marketing strategies. This role involves leading complex pre-sale, sale, closing, and execution engagements, focusing on customer adoption of Google's Performance Marketing solutions. Responsibilities include sophisticated selling across Google's Power Stack solutions, identifying and managing advertising opportunities, advising on media strategies, supporting clients with campaign planning and execution, and ensuring optimized reporting. The ideal candidate possesses deep product understanding, strong selling skills, and project management expertise, acting as a trusted advisor to large accounts. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building abilities.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital media or advertising sales, performance agency business or marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally to influence priorities/strategy.
  • Understanding of Google Ads solutions across performance and measurement.
  • Ability to build and manage successful joint business plans with key cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent communication, project management, investigative, and organizational skills.

As the Performance Sales Specialist, you will partner with key internal and external stakeholders to define account level Performance Marketing strategies as a vehicle to achieve clients’ business objectives. You will lead and own complex pre-sale, sale, closing and execution engagements and take responsibility for advancing customers' feature and product adoption of Google’s Performance Marketing solutions and offerings.

You will demonstrate a deep understanding of our products, and the impact they will have on our customer's business. You will be a thought leader in the Performance ecosystem, a strong seller with the capability to both convince clients on the value of an evolving app strategy and project manage the necessary technical implementation of the Power Stack strategy. You will be a trusted advisor, and have both an internal and external track record of success in large sales roles.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sophisticated selling efforts across all Google's Power Stack solutions for the largest and highest opportunity accounts in Central and Eastern Europe Large Customer Sales (LCS).
  • Identify, pitch and manage implementation of Performance advertising opportunities to clients.
  • Advise advertisers with media strategy recommendations and proactively and creatively identify and address client challenges.
  • Support assigned clients with global/regional management of ad campaign planning, execution, optimization and reporting in partnership with gTech Ads, InC IM and Hub AM.
