The Product Specialist will be instrumental in driving the success of table game products by bridging the gap between product management, sales, marketing, production and product development. Responsibilities include monitoring market trends, acting as a resource for sales representatives, participating in product launches, providing customer support, forecasting product placement, working with installation teams, and developing relationships with casino personnel. This role requires in-depth product knowledge, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Up to 40% travel is required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is needed; gaming industry experience is preferred.

Job Summary:
The Product Specialist will be instrumental in driving the success of table game products by bridging the gap between product management, sales, marketing, production and product development. This position will require an in-depth understanding of our table game products. As an advocate of our product and our customers, this role will require prioritizing customer satisfaction, business goals and market demands. Providing detailed recurring and revised forecasting, monitoring inventory levels, and communicating with vendors and casino operators are examples of the level of organization and professionalism desired for this position.  In addition, the Product Specialist will work closely with table games leadership to ensure alignment of priorities and consistent communication throughout the entire department.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance
  • Assist with adhering to expected lead times, achieving targeted installation dates and monitoring table game installations from the inception of the sales opportunity throughout the completion of the product installation
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity in relation to product development and customer demand
  • Act as a resource to sales representatives in contract opportunities, proposals and customer service/follow-up
  • Participate in product launches, gather user feedback, support sales enablement and assist with product enhancements
  • Provide customer support and follow up correspondence when a more detailed understanding of table game products is required
  • Provide product-specific information to our sales team and casino operators and continuously expand product knowledge to maintain expert status
  • Forecast product placement quarterly including stretch goals, while keeping an eye on inventory levels and improving/streamlining processes to achieve those forecasts
  • Work with installation teams to better understand customer operations and systems, incorporate front-end lessons to future product development
  • Develop working relationships with high-level casino personnel, conduct product demos and aid sales with expert product knowledge
  • Other duties assigned by management
Skills/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education required (7+ years preferred)
  • Gaming industry experience preferable
  • Technical aptitude, professional presentation skills, and superior customer service skills required.
  •  Previous experience as a Product Specialist preferable
  •  Ability to obtain required licensing documents and approvals for domestic travel.
  •  Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook)
  •  Experience with communicating with vendors and customers frequently.
  •  Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions.
  •  Communication skills (listening, constructive feedback, conflict resolution, writing, presentation)
  •  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  •  Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data
  •  Must be at least 21 years old.
  •  Travel required, up to 40%
