Side São Paulo is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a solid track record of managing the creation, management, and delivery of quality products from start to finish. This is a key role supporting our delivery teams with a range of tasks, projects, and initiatives. As the Project Manager, you will own and manage the global portfolio, delivering improvements in onboarding, operations, technology, processes, and procedures. You'll help drive consistency and best practices that will benefit our clients, working with internal resources, stakeholders, and external partners. You will also work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Ideal candidate would be passionate about games, have a strong quality mindset from a consumer perspective and is a collaborative leader.
Must have:
  • Driving the implementation of multiple project initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams and resources to achieve milestones within established timeframes.
  • Establishing and implementing best practices for organization, reporting and support of key delivery processes for the program.
  • Capturing and communicating program-related business, functional and creative information to project stakeholders and senior management.
  • Leading key projects and initiatives for delivery operations.
  • Facilitating and coordinating key project and program meetings.
  • Managing client on-boarding process and deliverables, coordinating with all supporting teams.
  • Helping the creation of business cases and other documents in support of key initiatives.
  • Effectively manage issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensuring lessons learned are documented and implemented.
  • Defining ‘best practice’ methodologies with other Project Managers for future projects which span multiple lines of business.
Good to have:
  • Excellent understanding of full software life-cycle including translation, LQA and audio.
  • Project management certification, i.e. PMP, ACP, etc.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Project Management or similar role in the Video Games or related tech industry.
  • Experience in outsource environment a plus.
  • Effective relationship builder and collaborator both with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, resources and deliverables across different functions and locations globally.
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work under pressure.
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities.
  • Resourceful, with a proactive and problem-solving nature.
  • Project management and PMO experience.
  • Ability to operate in the time zone required for a specific client or project.

Nice to have

  • Excellent understanding of full software life-cycle including translation, LQA and audio.
