On behalf of Prograd, GT is looking for a React Native Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech platform and take ownership of its mobile app.

About the Role

Prograd is seeking a skilled React Native Engineer to take ownership of our mobile app development and drive its ongoing enhancement and optimization.

You will work closely with the product team to deliver new features and maintain high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry requirements.

This role requires a proactive and experienced engineer who can independently manage the app’s technical delivery, identify potential challenges early, and collaborate effectively to overcome them.

You will help shape the future of our React Native app, supporting both iOS and Android platforms using Expo and GraphQL technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the React Native mobile application, driving feature development and ongoing maintenance
• Build new features and improve existing functionality for both iOS and Android using React Native and Expo
• Ensure compliance with Apple App Store guidelines and proactively identify potential platform limitations
• Support QA processes by addressing bugs and assisting with testing efforts, including Detox testing library
• Monitor and optimize app performance for stability and responsiveness
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on technical challenges and solutions

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

• At least 3 years of professional experience with React Native and Expo
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with GraphQL APIs
• Hands-on experience delivering production-quality mobile applications on both iOS and Android
• Experienced with supporting app releases & a solid understanding compliance guidelines for both Apple App Store & Google Play Store
• Fluency in English
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end mobile features autonomously, including feature development, optimization, and maintenance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and performance improvements
• Strong communication skills

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with Detox or similar mobile testing frameworks
• Previous experience in working with online marketplace, communities or task for reward applications
