The Regional HR Director will lead and implement human resources strategies across the designated region, supporting teams in Asian studios. This role involves driving global inclusive leadership and equity initiatives, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with labor laws. Responsibilities include strategic leadership, talent management, global engagement and culture, compliance and risk management, compensation and benefits, change management, HR metrics and reporting, and team leadership. This role acts as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, focusing on enhancing employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. The director will lead HR aspects of organizational changes and ensure quality service delivery across all studios.

Job Details

The Regional HR Director is responsible for leading and implementing human resources strategies across the designated region supporting our teams in our Asian studios. You will be the main point of contact for driving global inclusive leadership and equity initiatives, supporting the other regions to deliver these initiatives locally. This role focuses on aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with local and international labour laws and regulations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Regional VP Operations and local leadership, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, talent development, and organisational effectiveness on both regional and global levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement regional HR strategies that align with corporate objectives and address local market needs.
    • Act as a strategic partner to regional and global leadership, providing insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organisational design.
  2. Talent Management
    • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the region.
    • Drive succession planning and leadership development initiatives to build a robust talent pipeline.
    • Oversee performance management processes to ensure alignment with business goals and employee development.
  3. Global Engagement and Culture
    • Collaborate with global HR teams to develop and implement inclusive leadership and equity strategies that resonate across diverse regions and cultures.
    • Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement globally and regionally.
    • Implement programmes to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention at both regional and global levels.
    • Serve as a global advocate for employees, addressing concerns and promoting open communication across borders.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with local, and international labour laws and regulations.
    • Manage and mitigate HR-related risks, including handling employee relations matters and investigations.
  5. Compensation and Benefits
    • Collaborate with global HR teams to develop and implement engagement strategies that resonate across diverse regions and cultures.
    • Collaborate with corporate HR and finance teams to manage regional and global compensation and benefits programmes.
    • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures, including executive renumeration, globally and locally.
    • Conduct Executive level compensation and benefit analysis
  6. Change Management
    • Lead HR aspects of organisational changes, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring efforts.
    • Provide guidance and support during periods of transformation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  7. HR Metrics and Reporting
    • Analyse HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programmes and identify trends or areas for improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports for regional and corporate leadership.

8.      Team Leadership

o   Lead the Asia HR teams to ensure a consistent delivery of quality service across all studios
