We are seeking a Senior Architect, Cloud Engineering with a strong focus on AWS. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Responsibilities include architecting scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud solutions, developing high-level and detailed designs, and ensuring cost optimization while maintaining performance and security. The architect will lead the migration of on-premises applications to AWS, provide technical guidance to development teams, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical goals with business objectives. Expertise in a wide range of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and SageMaker is crucial. The role also includes evaluating new AWS services, implementing security measures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting infrastructure-as-code practices with tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Driving automation in CI/CD pipelines and monitoring system performance for optimization are key aspects of this position.

Develop high-level and detailed designs for AWS solutions, including serverless applications, microservices, and data pipelines. Architect cost-optimized solutions while maintaining performance, security, and compliance standards. Lead the migration of on-premises applications and data to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and risks. Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in cloud design and implementation. Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to align technical goals with business objectives. Deep expertise in a wide range of AWS services, including: Compute: (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS), Storage: (S3, EFS, FSx), Databases: (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora), Networking: (VPC, Route 53, CloudFront), Security: (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, WAF), Monitoring: (CloudWatch, X-Ray), Analytics: (Redshift, Glue, Athena), Machine Learning: SageMaker Studio Evaluate and recommend new AWS services and tools to enhance efficiency and capabilities. Implement robust security measures, including encryption, identity, and access management (IAM) policies, and secure network design. Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO standards. Regularly conduct security assessments and audits of AWS environments. Promote infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK. Drive automation in deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery through automation and resilient architecture designs. Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party solutions. Recommend strategies for load balancing, caching, and scaling to handle high traffic and resource demands. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
