Must have:
  • 5-8 years of experience with MERN stack.
  • Develop efficient and reliable JavaScript, both client and server-side.
  • Create and maintain highly effective and maintainable CSS.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming paradigms.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and good software architecture.
  • Understanding of current trends in web and mobile development.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins.
Good to have:
  • Experience in customizing headless CMS solutions.
  • Exposure to AI app development tools.

Autodesk’s Digital Marketing Experiences Engineering team is looking for a talented full-stack engineer who is passionate about technology to join our globally distributed team and help us develop beautiful, personalized website experiences.
 

As part of the Digital Marketing Experiences Engineering team, you will take a important role to implement exciting new features that engage and influence Autodesk customers. Our team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges, from creating new tools and components, implementing critical web services, creating new and engaging end-user experiences, to digging into low-level performance details and streamlining processes. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation in the MERN tech stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), experience designing and describing complex software systems, and a drive to tackle new challenges head-on. This is your chance to work with a team of experienced and talented individuals, participate in a fun and engaging workplace culture, and have your work used by millions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business domain and work with product management to develop long and short-term technical vision.

  • Design and develop full-stack solutions using the MERN tech stack and/or any other modern stacks.

  • Drive solutions to complex business problems to build highly maintainable, scalable, and reliable web-based consumer and B2B platforms.

  • Establish and drive best practices in software engineering including coding standards.

  • Align with teams across functions to achieve successful technical design and implementation.

  • Continue to research and adopt new technologies to evolve our products.

  • Use and advance our agile practices.

  • Experience in customizing headless CMS solutions and exposure to AI app development tools is a bonus.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience working in a modern full-stack application with the MERN tech stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

  • Experience developing efficient and reliable JavaScript, both client-side and server-side.

  • Experience creating and maintaining highly effective and maintainable CSS.

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming paradigms.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and good software architecture.

  • An understanding of current trends in web and mobile development.

  • Experience with continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins.
