Altagram seeks a Senior Localization Project Manager for their APAC/PST region to lead and coordinate daily operations, ensuring top-tier localization quality for video game titles. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, monitoring localization quality, preparing financial reports, supporting business development, leading meetings, and driving improvements in workflows. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of experience in localization project management within the gaming industry, full-cycle localization expertise, excellent communication skills, strong client management abilities, proficiency with industry software, and a solid understanding of internationalization and globalization principles. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.

Altagram is seeking a highly accomplished and potent Senior Localization Project Manager (m/f/d). In this critical role, you will oversee project management initiatives while nurturing and expanding key client relationships. With a strong emphasis on fostering seamless communication and aligning with global objectives, you will play a pivotal role in driving both regional growth and international success. 

The ideal candidate for this position should be based in the APAC/PST/PDT or adjacent time zones such as MT. 

YOUR ROLE

  • Leading and coordinating day-to-day operations to ensure top-tier localization quality for video game titles.
  • Managing and overseeing project budgets, ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Continuously monitoring localization quality and developing strategies to guarantee the highest standard of delivered content.
  • Preparing detailed financial reports for headquarters, while managing client and vendor accounts with accuracy.
  • Supporting business development efforts in APAC/PST/PDT connecting with prospective clients and representing the company.
  • Leading kick-off and post-mortem meetings, driving improvements in localization workflows and overall project efficiency.
Your profile
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills, proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Localization Project Manager, with comprehensive expertise in the field.
  • Full-cycle localization experience, including text localization, audio, and testing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by innovation and creativity.
  • Strong client-facing and negotiation skills, adept at managing client relationships.
  • Previous experience in an agency or publisher within the gaming or localization industry is essential.
  • Proficient with standard industry software, file formats, and localization tools such as MemoQ.
  • Solid understanding of internationalization and globalization principles.
