Job Description

As a Senior Release Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting the processes of production and operation of our games. You will determine the development of build systems, delivery, and testing of our games, work with various relevant tools, and bring your ideas and experience to the product. Your responsibilities will include automating routine processes, developing and supporting automatic testing on the device farm, setting up and developing Git Hooks to avoid errors during development, developing and supporting game production operation, configuring and supporting pipelines on TeamCity, stability monitoring, and interacting with partners.

Must have:

Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows, MacOS
Bash scripting, PowerShell scripting
Strong Python skills
Solid knowledge of Git
Experience working with CI/CD tools, TeamCity/Jenkins

Good to have:

Certificates for creating applications in stores
Understanding the principles of project assembly for different platforms
Experience in a similar position
Experience with TeamCity

Senior Release Engineer

Team, about the role

We're looking for a Release Engineer with strong programming skills to join the game project team. You'll develop and support the processes of production and operation of our games. More specifically, you will determine the development of build systems, delivery, and testing of our games, work with various relevant tools, and bring your ideas and experience to the product.

Tasks

Automation of routine processes;
Developing and supporting automatic testing on the device farm;
Setting up and developing Git Hooks to avoid errors during development;
Developing and supporting game production operation: participating in releases, preparing beta versions and patches, setting up and updating game events, A/B tests;
Configuring and supporting pipelines on TeamCity, resolving build issues, interacting with the CI team to ensure efficient operation of TeamCity;
Stability monitoring: crashes, error messages, graphs in Grafana and other tools;
Interacting with partners: transferring all necessary information for app release, assisting in solving their problems.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows, MacOS, Bash scripting, PowerShell scripting
Strong Python skills
Solid knowledge of Git
Experience working with CI/CD tools, TeamCity/Jenkins, or others

Would be a plus:

Certificates for creating applications in stores, such as a certificate for creating an app page in Google Play, or experience releasing applications in gaming stores
Understanding the principles of project assembly for different platforms
Experience in a similar position
Experience with TeamCity
