Senior Research Analyst who is responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of exchange and contributed data. Responsible for ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner and working on assigned data projects. Support the training of entry level associates with regards to product, work flow and databases.
The successful candidate will join IFR's deal team, and will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
● Timely and accurate inputting of new issue fixed income data into multiple platforms.
● Maintain databases of primary bond market data, including cleansing and updating of existing entries.
● Compile and evaluate historical data to identify market trends.
● Cover predominantly the market in the US time zone.
The role is open to Refinitiv Bangalore applicants who have the following qualifications:
● General knowledge of the fixed income markets and terminology, especially how the primary bond market works.
● Excellent spoken and written English.
● Understanding of different asset classes, such as investment-grade and high-yield, and preferably structured finance as well.
● An excellent eye for detail.
● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
● Strong communication, organisational and language skills.
