About the role

Moonvalley is developing cutting-edge generative AI models designed to power Superbowl-worthy commercials and award-winning cinematic experiences. Our inaugural, cutting-edge HD model, Marey, is built on exclusively licensed and owned data for professional use in Hollywood and enterprise applications.

Our team is an unprecedented convergence of talent across industries. Our elite AI scientists from Deepmind, Google, Microsoft, Meta & Snap, have decades of collective experience in machine learning and computational creativity. We have also established the first AI-enabled movie studio in Hollywood, filled with accomplished filmmakers and visionary creative talent. We work with the top producers, actors, and filmmakers in Hollywood as well as creative-driven global brands. So far we’ve raised over $100M+ from world-class investors including General Catalyst, Bessemer, Khosla Ventures & YCombinator – and we’re just getting started.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be involved in developing new features, while elevating and optimizing our current platform at Moonvalley. You will be responsible for:

• Design & Build: Participate in product design discussions and decisions; develop and enhance dashboards
• Implementing: Write clean scalable system-oriented code and implement software/products aligned with the growing demands of our customers. Test, debug, support and enhance software as per product specifications
• Collaborating: Work with various teams to establish organizational best practices that scale with our team and products, consistently resulting in high-quality software systems that set industry standards
• Code Reviews: Enforce best practices, code guidelines and ensure code quality is up to standards and compliant
• Communicating: Inquire and communicate thoroughly about task details and descriptions to ensure tasks are fulfilled correctly. Share knowledge and thought leadership to the rest of the organization, including strategic technical direction as well as professional development opportunities

What we're looking for:

• Over 5 years of hands-on development experience in a product-driven or generative AI environment.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack JavaScript development, particularly in React, Vue.js and Node.js.
• Experience in designing scalable software solutions with an emphasis on data visualization & dashboards
• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and a fast-learning aptitude.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in SQL and Postgres relational databases.
• Familiarity with integrating and leveraging AI and LLM platforms.
