We are seeking a Senior EHS Training Specialist to develop and deliver safety and compliance training across our engineering, field, and manufacturing teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our personnel operate safely in environments ranging from labs to shipyards, while supporting compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DoD-specific standards. This role is ideal for a safety professional who brings structure, clarity, and hands-on experience to fast-paced, high-risk technical environments.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain EHS training programs
  • Deliver safety and compliance training
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DoD standards
  • Collaborate with EHS, Facilities, and Operations teams
  • Track training completion and compliance metrics
  • Support incident investigations
  • Provide expertise in safety communication
  • Minimum 5 years experience in safety training
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Experience with lab and hardware testing safety
  • U.S. Citizenship and security clearance eligibility
Good to have:
  • Experience supporting DoD, aerospace, or defense contractor safety programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, or CSP
  • Familiarity with maritime or shipyard environments
  • Experience building LMS content or digital training assets

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior EHS Training Specialist to develop and deliver safety and compliance training across our engineering, field, and manufacturing teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our personnel operate safely in environments ranging from labs to shipyards, while supporting compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DoD-specific standards. This role is ideal for a safety professional who brings structure, clarity, and hands-on experience to fast-paced, high-risk technical environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS training programs tailored to engineering, field operations, and test environments.
  • Conduct onboarding safety training and refreshers on topics such as hazardous materials handling, electrical safety, PPE, and confined spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DoD safety standards through structured documentation and training records.
  • Collaborate with EHS, Facilities, and Operations teams to identify training needs and risks across the organization.
  • Track training completion, certifications, and compliance metrics; maintain accurate documentation for audit readiness.
  • Support incident investigations and incorporate findings into ongoing training improvements.
  • Serve as an internal resource for best practices in safety communication, signage, and field-readiness checklists.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering safety training programs in an engineering, manufacturing, or field operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations; experience applying safety practices to lab and hardware testing environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting DoD, aerospace, or defense contractor safety programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, or CSP.
  • Familiarity with maritime or shipyard environments.
  • Experience building LMS content or digital training assets.
  • This role requires access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status.
