Leads and directs the systems and hardware enablement team, maintaining and developing support engineering processes. Provides technical assistance and feedback on new product features, contributing to enhancements and bug fixes. Drives development, enablement, and optimization for hardware engineering, collaborating with hardware, software, and product development teams. Responsible for setting clear goals, facilitating work, and ensuring accountability to drive team results. Inspires people, role models Intel values, develops others' capabilities, and ensures a productive work environment. Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates complex analog and mixed-signal electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry. Determines creative design approaches, analyzes equipment, conducts experimental tests, and selects components based on specifications and reliability.
Must have:
  • BE/MS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years experience
  • Strong electrical/electromagnetic fundamentals
  • Strong Signal/Power Integrity fundamentals
  • Good knowledge of Power Delivery Network
  • Good system/board design knowledge
  • Good background in High Speed System Interfaces
  • Good knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools
  • Working knowledge of basic electronic equipment
  • Good communication skills
  • Very good team player

Job Description: 

  • Leads and directs the systems and hardware enablement team and their functions, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Maintains and develops the support engineering processes and practices and provides technical assistance.
  • Provides feedback on the design and development of new product features. Contributes to feature enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Leads development, enablement, and optimization activities for hardware engineering and collaborates with multiple teams such as hardware, software, and product development.
  • Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
  • Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.
  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for analog and mixed signal electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • Determines creative design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data. Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Applies and uses independent evaluation to selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Evaluates practical capability of vendor to support product development.
  • Also includes Analog, Mixed Signal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits for wireless and wireline communications systems and products using CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, GaAs Process technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Must have BE / MS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with minimum 8+ years' experience with below skill sets:
  • Strong electrical/electromagnetic fundamentals
  • Strong Signal/Power Integrity fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge of Power Delivery Network, impedance profile analysis, including low power methodologies; power delivery modelling and complete system level power delivery modelling.
  • Good system/board design knowledge and process awareness.
  • Good background in High Speed System Interfaces like DDR, PCIe, USB3.0 etc.
  • Good knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools like HFSS/Q3D/ADS/HSpice/PowerDC
  • Working knowledge of basic electronic equipment including digital oscilloscope, DMM, network analyzer etc.
  • Good communication skills and very good team player.
