Responsibilities:
· Process Analysis and Improvement:
Analyze and document existing business processes within the Transport Department related to infrastructure projects.
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement within the current system.
Develop and recommend solutions for streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency.
Prepare detailed BPI reports with clear recommendations for implementation.
· Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the Transport Department to gather and document functional and technical requirements for the new infrastructure projects.
Translate stakeholder needs into comprehensive specifications for systems, software, and other necessary components.
Design and develop RFPs for the selection of contractors and vendors based on the defined requirements.
· Change Management and Implementation Support:
Develop and implement a robust change management plan to ensure the smooth transition from existing processes to the new infrastructure and systems.
Provide training and ongoing support to Transport Department staff on the new processes and technologies.
Monitor and track the implementation progress, identify challenges, and recommend adjustments as needed.
· Additional Responsibilities:
Liaise with project stakeholders, including the Project Manager, Technical Experts, and external consultants.
Prepare and present reports, analysis findings, and recommendations to senior management.

Stay updated on relevant industry trends and best practices in process optimization and technology integration.
Qualifications:
· B. Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
· Minimum 5 years of proven experience in analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes in large-scale projects.
· Solid understanding of business process analysis methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN) and BPR best practices.
· Extensive experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for IT systems and infrastructure projects.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective change management strategies.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
· Proficient in MS Office suite and project management tools.
· Experience in the transportation sector or e-governance projects would be highly desirable.
