About the Role:

Join CrowdStrike's GenAI Hub team to help build and scale our rapidly growing internal Generative AI platform that serves over 8,000 active users across the company. You'll develop robust backend services powering our comprehensive GenAI ecosystem - from retrieval-augmented generation systems and inference load balancing to autonomous agents and model orchestration frameworks. Our platform is both a direct productivity tool for everyday use and a foundation for teams to develop their own AI-powered solutions and agentic applications.

About the Team:

You'll join a high-performing team of experienced engineers building CrowdStrike's central GenAI platform. We operate in a fast-paced environment where engineers are expected to own delivery of work with complete autonomy and trust. The team follows a startup mentality with weekly planning sessions and checkpoints, emphasizing quick execution without compromising quality. You'll collaborate closely with our data science team, UX designers, product managers, and AI champions from across the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and implement scalable cloud services using Go in a cloud-native environment

  • Build reusable platform components and frameworks that other teams can leverage for their GenAI and agentic AI use-cases

  • Develop and operate secure LLM deployments in both cloud and on-prem environments

  • Create deep integrations with internal enterprise systems and establish frameworks for future connectors

  • Build high-performance data processing pipelines for document handling and retrieval-augmented generation

  • Engineer agentic workflows and autonomous agent capabilities that can perform complex tasks with minimal human intervention

  • Engage directly with internal users across departments to understand requirements and provide technical consultation

  • Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment and operation, including on-call responsibilities

  • Drive innovation in the rapidly evolving Generative AI landscape

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience

  • Genuine passion for Generative AI technologies and applications

  • Strong proficiency in Go or any modern programming language for backend service development

  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices

  • Experience with AWS services (S3, Bedrock, Sagemaker, RDS)

  • Practical knowledge of operating production services - CI/CD, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus), and Kubernetes

  • Strong grasp of multithreading, concurrency, and parallel processing

  • Experience with LLM integrations and AI/ML platforms

  • Knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures

  • Experience in designing, building and maintaining APIs aligned with industry standards

  • Understanding of engineering best practices - code reviews, testing, resilient architecture

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Essential Qualities:

  • Self-starter mentality with proven ability to drive projects independently

  • Comfortable managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive in identifying and solving technical challenges

  • Strong collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to make technical decisions with incomplete information

  • Enthusiasm for innovating in the agentic AI space, not just implementing existing solutions

  • Willingness to explore new approaches and challenge conventional thinking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a technical lead or team lead, coordinating projects and partnering with engineering management on roadmap planning

  • Understanding of vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation implementations

  • Experience building agentic workflows and autonomous agent systems

  • Familiarity with Python for integration with AI/ML libraries and tools

  • Security-first mindset with experience building systems that meet high privacy and compliance requirements

About The Company

CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 to fix a fundamental problem: The sophisticated attacks that were forcing the world’s leading businesses into the headlines could not be solved with existing malware-based defenses. Founder George Kurtz realized that a brand new approach was needed — one that combines the most advanced endpoint protection with expert intelligence to pinpoint the adversaries perpetrating the attacks, not just the malware.
