The Staff Game Product Management role is a dynamic, multi-functional position within our gaming division, offering numerous unique opportunities. This individual will be integrated into the gaming team, contributing to the definition of our mobile gaming roadmaps across various tiers. They will support OEM and studio adoptions for leading elite gaming features, ensuring an exceptional mobile gaming experience on Snapdragon platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multiple functional teams to define gaming requirements.
  • Be able to learn and adapt to a wide range of products and technologies.
  • Assist in developing detailed execution plans and monitor delivery progress.
  • Game community and KOL management.
  • Maintain timely communication with key OEMs and partners to align market demands and achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in executive reviews to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in game technologies in key tech domains, including GPU, CPU, NPU.
  • Experience with game programming and game design.
  • Experience with core game development and game engines.
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile game industry and studio engagements.
  • Comfortable working with large, complex projects and deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong social team fit, self-motivated.
  • Understanding of OEM gaming requirements.
  • Preferred MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science-related field.

Level of Responsibility:  
•    Working independently with little supervision.
•    Making decisions that are significant in impact; errors are not readily apparent due to the complexity of work process/product or time between decisions and results; errors typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds to correct. 
•    Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. May require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.
•    Having a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to provide input on key decisions).
•    Completing tasks that require multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; tasks require simultaneously executing multiple cognitive abilities and maintaining information in short- or long-term memory.
•    Exercising exceptional creativity to innovate new ideas and develop innovative products/processes without established objectives or known parameters.
•    Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required. 
•    Occasionally participates in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$179,200.00 - $268,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.  We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).  In addition, our highly competitive benefits package is designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play.
