The Staff, SAP Quality Business Process Analyst, is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the global quality organization within the NextGen ERP program. This role involves analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Key responsibilities include leveraging SAP Quality Module experience, identifying areas for improvement, acting as a liaison between business and GIS, leading continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, communicating effectively with stakeholders, data analysis, providing first-line support, training, and preparing reports. The candidate will work cross-functionally with various organizations to ensure alignment and support for process improvement initiatives.

The Staff, SAP Quality Business Process Analyst, is responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the global quality organization. This role involves analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance, focused on global quality for the NextGen ERP program. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough grasp of process improvement methodologies in the Plan to Deliver space, and the capability to influence and drive change at all organizational levels. Additionally, this position requires a solid understanding of quality systems foundations and in-depth knowledge of ERP systems.  Measures of success include achieving key program milestones, successful transition of Plan to Deliver business processes to SAP S4 including boundary systems, compliant reporting, achieving NextGen benefit case, and achieving operating metrics and baseline performance of Plan to Deliver process in the new system within 90 days of go live. Tasks and Responsibilities: * Quality technical Lead within the Global Business Process (GBP) workstream for Plan to Deliver for the NextGen ERP program. GBP includes all business processes associated with plan, schedule, quality, manufacturing, MES, distribution, and cost accounting and optimizing these process leveraging core S4 capability where possible and alignment with intersecting global business processes.  * Leverage SAP Quality Module experience to deliver best practice S4 architecture. * Advanced understanding of quality tools, including SAP QM, with end-to-end process scope, including inspections (incoming, in process, completion), customer complaints, usage decisions, quality data management, quality transactional data, and quality processes, such as deviations, CAPA, SCARs. * Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain processes, to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. * Act as a liaison between business and GIS, translating business needs into technical requirements and coordinating with GIS to implement effective solutions. * Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other relevant tools. * Develop and implement efficient processes to boost productivity and operational efficiency. * Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for process changes. * Proficient in data analysis, able to interpret complex data sets, and make data-driven decisions. * Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. * Analyze and refine requirements for delivering necessary technology services within the supply chain quality area. * Provide first-line support and insights for the quality processes and systems and cross-functional departments on troubleshooting, methodologies, and data issues related to quality tools. Translate business requests into functional requirements and coordinate with GIS (Global Information Services). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. * Lead trainer for Train the trainer model for quality processes and tools globally. * Prepare and present reports on process improvement activities, outcomes, and recommendations. * Experience working cross-functionally with various organizations within Illumina, such as Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Global Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and support for process improvement initiatives. Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. * 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, process improvement, and project management. * Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or APICS CPIM/CSCP are highly desirable. Skills: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficient in process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. * Familiarity with project management principles and practices. * Proven track record of leading successful process improvement initiatives.
