This Strategic Account Planner role focuses on new customer acquisition, daily sales reporting, and building corporate relationships through business development and MOUs. It involves organizing theme-based events for CXO/CFO contacts, ensuring process adherence, and smooth project delivery by liaising with operations. The role also requires maintaining client data, filing progress reviews, and updating activities in provided tools, emphasizing teamwork and a cohesive attitude.
Must have:
  • New customer acquisition in assigned territory.
  • Daily reporting of all sales activity.
  • Business development & relationship building with corporates and signing MOUs.
  • Organizing theme-based events for CXO/CFO Level contacts.
  • Ensure process adherence and error-free timely delivery of projects.
  • Liaising with operations team for smooth delivery of end product.
  • Maintaining data/client contact details in appropriate data warehouses.
  • Progress reviews and forecasting reports filed periodically.
  • Regular update of all activities in tools provided and track movement.
  • Be a team player.
  • Right attitude to work in cohesion with counterparts and colleagues.
  • MBA or post-graduation with 1-3 years in business development.
  • Good knowledge of local commercial and industrial belts.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze financial statements.
  • Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment.
  • No apprehensions to travel beyond city limits for business.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide value added insights.
  • Excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New customer acquisition in assigned territory
  • Daily reporting of all sales activity
  • Business development & relationship building with corporates and signing MOUs with them for self-ratings/corporate profiling/sectoral study reports/business information reports/D-U-N-S verified reports etc
  • Organizing theme-based events and ensuring participation of CXO/CFO Level contacts are part of the new customer acquisition strategy
  • Ensure process adherence at all times and error free timely delivery of projects
  • Liaising with the operations team for a smooth delivery of the end product and ensuring the service expectations of the customers are met
  • Maintaining the data/client contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically
  • Progress reviews and forecasting reports are filed periodically as required by the management
  • Regular update of all the activities in the tools provided and track the movement of all such activities
  • Be a team player
  • Should have the right attitude to work in cohesion with counterparts and colleagues

Key Requirements:

  • MBA or any post-graduation with relevant experience of 1-3 years in business development
  • Should have good knowledge of the local commercial and industrial belts
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze financial statements
  • Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment
  • Should not have apprehensions to travel beyond city limits for the interest of business
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide value added insights
  • Should have excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills
