Technical Lead Engineer

The role requires extensive experience with CATIA V6 and PLM applications. Key responsibilities include the parametric design of sheet metal parts such as front and rear doors, hood, fender, and tailgate. The individual will be responsible for defending concept choice files within projects and managing CAD model studies for complex systems, ensuring feasibility and adherence to vehicle packaging constraints with the CAD team. A crucial aspect is guaranteeing the application of design rules and best practices, and managing the escalation process for non-convergence. The role involves analyzing CAE and physical test reports, implementing necessary changes to meet targets in agreement with Engineering Specialists, and ensuring the QCDP status of the scope. Additionally, the position requires leading technical meetings with stakeholders, managing technical issues and change management, driving the convergence of the condition plan, and ensuring timely delivery and release of components. Building the schedule, including nomenclature and deadlines, for the assigned scope is also a core duty.
