The Trade-In Advisor at Tesla is responsible for the day-to-day functions of trade-ins and used car operations. This role involves coordinating with various teams (Used Car, Sales, Service, Delivery) to determine competitive market values for trade-in vehicles using current market data and software. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper processes and documentation are followed, serving as the point of contact for trade-in matters, providing training and support to the sales team on improving trade-in attachment rates, managing logistics for incoming trades and their disposal, and collaborating with the Service team on used Tesla inspections and repairs. The ideal candidate will possess advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite), strong attention to detail, and a passion for sustainable energy.
