Job Description

The Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales role at Google Customer Solutions involves delivering against ambitious quarterly business and product growth targets. Responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions to understand client needs, owning a portfolio of businesses, building and managing relationships with C-level clients, and developing joint strategies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of full life-cycle sales experience and a strong understanding of online media, coupled with excellent communication and analytical abilities. Success requires consistently exceeding quotas, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for growth, all while building strong relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams within Google.
Must have:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in building business and securing new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth targets to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand clients' business challenges, marketing goals, and opportunities.
  • Own a portfolio of businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
