This Account Strategist role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on mid-market sales, requiring fluency in English and Turkish. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly growth goals, owning a portfolio of medium to large businesses, consulting with customers on annual digital marketing strategies, driving customer growth, building strong client relationships, and engaging in stakeholder management. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, experience in advertising or a related field, and a proven ability to achieve business objectives. The role involves understanding client growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and creating multi-quarter plans for success. You will work with businesses to develop strategies for reaching thousands of users through Google advertising solutions.
Must have:

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Turkish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged promoting.
  • Experience with planning, implementing, tracking and execution.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media business context, and consistently achieve goals to deliver growth.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling for client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Consult with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Build relationships with the customers or agencies and engage in stakeholder management.
