Job Description

As an Account Strategist, you'll consult with various advertising companies, finding optimal advertising solutions using Google's products. You'll manage a portfolio of medium and large businesses, understanding their growth drivers, identifying opportunities, and creating multi-quarter plans. Responsibilities include pitching and consulting with clients on annual digital marketing budgets, driving customer growth, exceeding business objectives, and managing stakeholder relationships. You'll leverage your communication skills to represent Google and define strategies to reach thousands or millions of users. Fluency in English and French is essential for managing client relationships.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to manage client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged promoting.
  • Experience in sales, media sales, account management, marketing or consulting.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in France, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build engaging narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Manage stakeholders, build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
